Many people say that crime is everywhere. Do you believe that this is a true statement? Assess your community. What are the types of crimes that have the most instances? What do you believe could be done to address these types of crimes in your community? How would you use a strength-based approach when advocating client that had been convicted of a crime?
Violence
Violence can be present in many different forms. What are some of the examples of violence that you have been exposed to? What is the difference between crime and violence? What strategies would you use to combat violence? Is there such thing as a victim-less crime? Explain.
