Problem: Now that you know how the circuit works, you should be able to understand why certain malfunctions of the circuit cause the behavioral abnormalities that they do. Try stopping the rhythmic pattern generator neuron(s) on one side of the circuit and see what this does to the behavior. Describe the resulting behavior and explain it in terms of your understanding of the circuit mechanism. Contrast these results with your observations from section 3.5, where you examined the activity of Swimmy's tail while one of its motor neurons was hyperpolarized.
