In addition, as baby boomers begin to retire, our labor force needs immigrants and their children to replace current workers and fill new jobs. Also, I agree with Chambless that most Americans simply do not want to do the work that many undocumented immigrants do. For instance, my family spent every dollar we made right here in the United States on rent, groceries, electricity, and clothing, thus contributing to the nation's economy.
