Suppose you are a member of an advocate force for promoting wastewater recycling. To convince the local city council (of your choice), you want to write a concise report on
- why you think it is necessary to recycle wastewater and
- how you are going to do it.
Your report should include the design of your wastewater recycling plant and address how it takes care of identified risks.
In this project, the decision making process to support your argument is highly important. You need to first select or imagine a location with some specific characteristics regarding its water supply and water usage. From that, you then can develop your analysis, decision making process, and preliminary process designs.
This assignment is to be completed after you visit a plant (physically or virtually). You are not asked to write about that particular plant, but to design your own ideal wastewater recycling plant based on your understanding of the purpose, requirement and constraints. You are encouraged to be creative and critical.
