Problem
The Pattern Multiplication Principle was invoked to "derive" the power pattern for two "normal antenna" working together. Using what we did with point source antennas, why is it that the nulls of the two point source antenna pattern will closer together than the nulls in the "normal antenna"? Give a numerical example. For the numerical example assume that the "normal antenna" is 100 wavelengths in diameter and the two antennas are separated by 1,000 wavelengths.
