o What possible ‘futures' of the European Union project are there? Outline each of them and take a predictive stance toward the question.
o Why is it important to make the European Union more ‘democratic'? What has been done to make the EU more democratic in the recent past?
o There are an increasing amount of EU member countries which are skeptical to accepting new members into the community in the near future. Do you think Turkey should become an EU member? If so, would it meet the eligibility criteria? If not, why not? Explain.
