The first question about the impacts of hurricanes for the US has three parts to address.
Q1. Explain why inflation-adjusted hurricane property damages in the United States could very easily increase in the future even if there is no change in the number or intensity of hurricanes that strike the United States.
Q2. Briefly mention a few measures that could be taken to avoid higher losses in the future.
Q3. In your opinion, do you believe these measures should be mandated by the government or should we just accept that there will be large amounts of hurricane property damage from time to time?
