Problem:
On September 12, 2024, New Jersey passed Bill S3235. This new law makes it pretty much illegal to sell "intoxicating hemp products" without a cannabis license and will put the products under the regulation of the Cannabis Regulatory Commission. Hemp, a relative of cannabis, has lower THC levels and is federally legal. It also doesn't get a person high like cannabis would. This law was introduced because people believe that the products are too unregulated and too easily available to minors. Why people support this policy
