Case Study: Martin Wilkinson was seen at the emergency room of Pearson General Hospital. He had complaints of severe right-side flank pain. He did not have a previous history of kidney problems and had no pelvic pain or difficulty urinating. He presented to the ED with the following symptoms: sweating, nausea, and complaints of extreme pain. Mr. Wilkinson is diagnosed with a kidney stone (renal calculus) in the right renal ureter.
