Assignment Problem: One of the strongest commonalities between religions is the Golden Rule.
The Christian statement of the Golden Rule, which is, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," may be the most famous. But the Golden Rule is present in several religions in some form. A few examples:
- Judaism - What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbor.
- Islam - None of you truly believes until you wish for others what you wish for yourself.
- Hinduism - Do not do to others what you would not have them do to you.
- Wicca - If it harms none, do what you will.
Why do you think the Golden Rule is present in so many different faiths?
