Assignment Task:
I believe that that employers should provide health insurance to employees, I believe this would be beneficial to all and would be an incentive for new employees to work hard and appreciate what they have. Some changes to be made to the healthcare delivery system to make it more accessible would be ease of use. With technology, this has improved in my opinion by having apps to make appointments or pay your medical bills. We are constantly evolving, especially with technology so I believe it will continue to improve. I believe that the people in the most need of healthcare do not receive it, the two populations that come to mind that are underserved are veterans and individuals with mental health needs. I have seen both up close and personal in my previous career as a Corrections Officer, especially on the mental health side of things. Care for mental health needs is extremely expensive and hard to find at least where I live in South Florida and unfortunately, I would see people on the other side of the fence because they did not receive or found not find the care they needed.
