Food Safety Training Program
Create a two- to four-page (not including the title and reference pages), APA formatted, food safety training plan to educate employees in the proper procedures for how to handle food safely, including the procedures and measures needed to prevent foodborne illness. Include at least two scholarly sources, one of which must be from the Ashford University Library. Your food safety training plan must include:
a. A description of why employee education in food safety is important.
b. A description of critical food safety knowledge areas for employees.
c. A description of training in the identified critical areas, including how and when employees will receive training.
d. A description of criteria used to keep safety training records on all employees to ensure ongoing training.
