Problem
i. Why does Robert Moses hold so much of our attention?
ii. The story of Robert Moses is as much about power (hence the name of Caro's book) as it was about substance (the changes he made in New York City and other cities). How did he amass and keep power?
iii. Robert Caro, quoting Lewis Mumford, says "the influence of Robert Moses on the cities of America was greater than that of any other person." What was that influence? Give me three concrete examples from the readings or videos.
