Discussion Post: Who Would It Hurt?
We are covering Japanese Alternative design through these designers: Yohji Yamamato, Rei Kawakubo- Comme des Garçons and Issey Miyake. They have a unique approach and vision to fashion.
Choose one of these designers and explain their important contribution(s) to today's fashion. Why do you believe their work is inspiring designers today? Include examples of their design(s) along with an analysis.
Ann Elkin, who works for Brill Co., has been sent out to conduct two customer evaluations, which have gone much more quickly than Ann anticipated. Her supervisor does not expect Ann back until after lunch. It is now 10:30 A.M., and Ann would like to run some personal errands and then go to lunch before returning to work at 1:00 P.M.
Answer the following questions related to the above-mentioned scenario:
• Should Ann take the time? Would you? Why or why not?
• Is this any different than if Ann was sitting at her office desk using a work computer to access her personal email, surf the internet, check social media or make personal phone calls on her work phone?
