Why do you behave ethically? How much of your behavior is guided by some inner standards of virtue? How much of you behavior is guided by utility-fear of punishment or desire for pleasure-the pleasure of having people think highly of you or regard you well?
Do you think people are basically inherently good or evil, or are those concepts just social conventions we use to describe behavior we like or enjoy or despise and hate?
