Project: Find & Explain an Image
Create/Find & Explain an Image: As part of the larger project, you will create or find an image that responds in some way to the issue, idea, or concept you identified during the inquiry and research phase.
Post your found or created image and writing that addresses some (not all) of the following questions.
a) Why did you make your choices in creating/finding your image?
b) What do your preferences for the image the way you did?
c) What symbols or cultural understandings are present, and who are they for/not for?
d) Where/how would/will the image be circulated in the world?
e) Who will see it where, and why does that matter?
f) In what ways did creating or finding the idea give you a different perspective on your issue or question?
g) Is there anything that is creating or finding the image changed, strengthened, or shifted your perspective on the issue or question you are exploring?
h) What do you hope the image will make people think or feel or do about your issue or question?
i) How did your research on your issue/question inform your image creation/selection?
j) Where does the research show up in the image?
