1.Why did populism become widespread in Latin American during the mid-20th century? What role did the middle class and industrial workers have?
2.What role did Latin America have during the Cold War? How did this international conflict influence conservatism and military repression in the region?
3.What is neoliberalism? How did this economic trend influence Latin America? Who benefited from neoliberalism? Who was left out?
