Garrison's Reflections on Writing

Writing has always come easy for me. Everything has always been easy for me. I have never earned a grade that was not an "A" in school. This dates back to kindergarten. I first realized I was the most brilliant student ever when my parents told me so when I was two and attending my first day of preschool. Nothing has changed since. I consider the story I told my class while finger painting to be my first piece of brilliant writing.

This class provided tips and tricks on becoming an even better writer than I already am. It provided a good overview of the basics. I already knew everything, but it made a nice refresher course. The fourth week was especially helpful to me, because it gave me a chance to show the rest of the class a glimpse into my excellent writing. I think they really enjoyed that.

My future plans in writing are to take additional writing classes. Not only will I get to collect more top grades for my transcript, I think I can be a perfect example for the other students in class. I am also going to write and publish a novel next month, start writing for my local paper, and launch my own tutoring program in my community. Restaurant and hotel reviews will be my focus. Surely the paper will pay for my meals and rooms in exchange for the opportunity to publish my opinion. They will need to pay me for the article too. Overall, I see a shining future for myself in writing.

Why did Garrison get an A?

He wrote three full paragraphs.
Each paragraph was about writing and the class he is finishing.
He wrote clear, easy to read sentences.

(He certainly didn't get an A for his winning personality or for being realistic. I wish local papers would accept pitches like that. I'd be working out of a suite at Luxor in Las Vegas right now if they did.)
