Discuss the gender critique put forth my second wave feminist artists. How and why did they use visual art to critique issues of gender? How have artists used their body to create work that that engages ideas of gender or critiques cultural constructions like gender? How are contemporary artists using bodies to address issues like immigration, labor and racism? How does these work rely on the role of the audience?
