Explain the e-business you might like to start.
Have some fun with this process. For examples, if you like dogs, you might decide to sell downloadable information product about adopting a dog. Ensure your business doesn't include criminal or pornographic activity (your instructor is squeamish).
Answer these 4 questions:
(1) Why must business must be e-business rather than brick and mortar? Your reasons must be assoviated to the requirements and wants of market, not to ease of setting yourself up in business. "It's cheaper on Internet" or, "I can reach more people" are not good reasons to start e-business.
(2) Explain your target market. Keep in mind, you can not be everything to everybody. You have much better chance of success and will be more successful if you segment total market and concentrate on that part of market in which you have greatest chances of success. In Internet marketing, we talk about finding niche. Narrower your niche, and more carefully you can explain it, the more probable your success.
(3) How will visitors locate you on Internet? If they use search engines, what keywords will they be probable to use?
(4) Write down name of 2-3 competitors and describe why your offer is better than theirs.
