Problem: McCambridge and colleagues (2014) discuss "research participation effects." They incorporate participant characteristics into their assessment of attribution/participation. Much of the literature is focused on large clinical studies/trials. Evaluate some of the reasons why a participant might withdraw from a small qualitative study.
