Whos afraid of virginia woolf

Problem:

Over the course of the semester, we have covered 1 film and 7 plays that were adapted into films. You have read 2 of those original plays. Several of the plays (12 Angry Men, A Raisin in the Sun, A Streetcar Named Desire and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?) are older films from the 1950s-1960s.

In this question I would like you to argue either WHY the inclusion of these older works is valuable or WHY NOT. You should follow the typical assignment/essay question criteria. Basically, do you feel like it is valuable as a student to be exposed to these works or do you feel that older works do not have much value to modern students. Whichever side you come down on, support your conclusions, with a quote from the text for an A response, or at least with your reasoning for the answer.
