Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison competed in a "war of the currents" in the late 1800s.
Your assignment is to write a 3 to 5 page essay discussing this topic. Your paper needs to be 12
point, Times New Roman font and have 1" margins with double spaced lines.
Your paper should include the following:
1.Give an brief history of both Tesla and Edison (no superfluous details, just the basics or things that are pertinent to this

2. Explain the difference between AC and DC current. You don't have to go into crazy detail with science that you don't
understand, you can just explain the basic concepts associated with each. Also, pros vs. cons of each type.
3. Which type of current is associated with which scientist?
4. What was the "war of the currents" all about?
5. Who won (which type do we use today in the US)? What events helped (led up to) the
