Assignment task: Tang owned a small hardware store. He leased the premises where he conducted the business from Pepsi. One day Tang decided to clean out his store. In the process, he left a few boxes of garbage outside his front door on the pavement in boxes. He was going to pick them up and take them away later in the afternoon. Tab wanted to buy some screws and went to Tang's store. Before he got into the store he tripped over the boxes and broke his arm. Tab did not see the boxes because at the time he tripped he was texting his girlfriend. Who can Tab sue for negligence?
Tang recently received a large delivery of hammers. The hammers incorporated new technology into the handles which stopped vibrations when hitting nails. Tang had a demonstration in the store whereby customers could try the hammers. He had some nails and a block of timber, and the customers could pick up the hammer and hit the nails into the wood. Pepper, who was a brain surgeon (you can call him Dr Pepper), came into the store and picked up the hammer and attempted to hit some nails. When hitting the nails, he missed and hit his finger. As a result of the damage caused, he can no longer perform brain surgery. Advise Pepper.
Fresca came into the store with his friend Milo. Fresca thought it would be funny if he fired a nail gun at Milo. He fired the gun and the nail came out and hit Milo in the eye blinding him. Can Milo sue Fresca? What if Fresca was only 8 years old?
