Discussion:
As a policy advocate it is important for you to be familiar with your legislators. In Policy Advocacy 4.1 on pg 101 (print version) there are some websites that may help you complete the following exercise:
1. Who are your state senators and your US Senator?
2. What are their top legislated agenda items?
3. Is there any information about their campaign finances on their websites?
4. Who is their constituency?
5. Do your legislators support or oppose any policy that is related to Veterans (Social, environmental, political, economic?)
6. Share any other interesting information you learned about them.
