Directions for the Contextual Analysis:
A. Article "Top 5 Indigenous issues all Canadians should care about" By Trina Roache.
B. Begin the contextual analysis using these questions as a guide (you don't have to answer all these questions, they are just for direction and consideration when analyzing your source):
a. What are the central themes, issues, or topics of the source?
b. What happened and/or what is happening? Specifically, what characteristics of the source make it relevant to the outcomes of the assignment?
c. Who are the major stakeholders or parties represented?
d. What perspective(s) on the issue or topic are present in the source?
e. Does there appear to be bias in the source?
f. When did the event take place? What other major action or event is connected?
g. Where did this take place? How is the location or jurisdiction important to your analysis?
h. Why did the event take place? What relevant background story or information must be identified in order for the read to understand the context analysis?
