Who are the early ancestors of platyrrhines and how did platyrrhines get to South America?
· Choose a controversial topic related to primates or primate evolution. This means that you must choose a topic that has conflicting points of view in the literature (i.e., just saying your topic is diet is not good enough. What is the controversy about diet?).
· Clearly state your topic and discuss the alternating viewpoints regarding the topic.
· Precede your annotated bibliography with a one-page summary (no more, no less) of your topic and the issues under consideration.
· Present a bibliography with support for both (or more) points of view.
· Include at least twelve references.

· Adhere to the "References" specifications outline in the assignment description in the syllabus.
· Citation style should follow that of a scientific journal such as the Journal of Human Evolution or the American Journal of Physical Anthropology. This is usually APA (American Psychological Association) style.
