Problem
In this source of Lucretius in Roman Civilization, what are the battles, who are the champions, and what is the journey? In other words, for the battles, what does Lucretius most want to convince his reader to think and not to think, to do and not to do? As for the champion(s), look carefully at the text: whom/what does Lucretius admire most? And on the journey, what kinds of movement/progress does Lucretius suggest here for the Roman reader and for civilization?
