Focus: You will write a 2,000 word academic research essay on the topic you selected for Assessment. While your report presented information on this topic, your research essay must explore this issue in greater detail, working to develop a coherent link of argument or discussion in a compelling essay founded upon a clear thesis. You may discuss the same issues and use your sources from assignment two, however you may not self-plagiarise (i.e. do NOT cut and paste material you have already written for assignment two into the final assignment). This research essay should follow standard essay structure and should be a synthesis of the ideas and resources presented in your report. You must use the template provided below. Word Count The word count for this assessment is 2,000 words. Note that only essay itself will count towards the word count; references lists will not be counted. References This essay must be referenced according to UniSA's Harvard Referencing Guide. You will require a minimum of eight (8) academic resources (peer-reviewed journal articles or scholarly book chapters)for this assignment. Additional reputable sources, such as government reports, may be used to support your research discussion.
