Risk control techniques are interesting because they aren't ways to identify risks, but ways to change a condition that can influence the outcome. This is important to help mitigate risk in a project. While it is important to monitor risk it is equally important to control the risk because it is an actual action item to change the plan.
Do you think that control techniques are beneficial? Have you had an experience where you have been able to mitigate the risk by changing the condition to change the outcome?
