Which writer presents the more valid argument

Problem

I. Compare/contrast rhetorical analysis of Cal Thomas's "Is the American Dream Over?" and Brandon King's "The American Dream: Dead, Alive, or on Hold?" Which writer presents the more valid argument? Note: you are completing a rhetorical analysis of both articles but arguing that one argument is better presented and more valid than the other.

II. Develop a "hook" that will draw your reader's attention. (Do not begin with "In Sui Sin Far's 'In the Land of the Free' . . . ." or "Cal Thomas's article . . . " ) Provide a three-to-four sentence summary of the story in the introduction, and make certain to introduce the title of the story and its writer. For the articles, you may introduce them either in the introduction or in the body section. Again, acknowledge not only the title of the article, but also its author. For the rhetorical analysis, offer a summary of both articles in the introduction.

III. Use at least two secondary source/s outside the story and articles to support your views. These sources should reflect the views of critics of literature or the informative views of expert opinion. (NOTE: Use articles from scholarly journals as credible, academic sources.) Integrate these sources smoothly into your text, and comment on them. Cite your sources with the standard in-text and works cited. (Make certain to cite the story and author.
