Problem
Two potential ethical problems that arise when a paralegal starts talking to the defendant of a case where his atty represents the plaintiff and pretends to be a potential friend bringing up incident that is subject to the law suit.
One ethical problem I see is not disclosing that he works for the opposing parties attorney as a paralegal. Illegally obtaining information which will be thrown out due to falsely representing yourself as a friend and not a paralegal at attys office who is representing the plaintiff.
