Problem: Maita recruited participants from the PSYCH 104 and 105 classes by using a random number generator to select random student ID numbers. All participants do a self-report questionnaire about their beliefs in destiny and predetermination. Based on their responses, Maita divides the participants into two groups; those high and low in destiny beliefs. Thinking about the use of randomness in this study, has Maita sampled participants in a way that will be representative of PSYCH 104 and 105 students?
