Problem: Prospect a salesperson via a social media site such as LinkedIn or some professional group (Carbondale Young Professional) or other approaches (Meetup.com, sales organizations, networking, etc.). Your task is to introduce yourself as a student learning all about sales and explain your desire to learn about how he/ she prospects and gains pre-call information. Ask and get answers to the following questions.

6. How do you keep track of prospects?

7. What types of pre-call information do you attempt to obtain? Where do you get that information? Conduct an interview with any types of salespeople: (it could be one who sells industrial products, one who is a pharmaceutical rep, one who sells consumer products to grocery stores, a car salesperson, etc.).
