The lesions range in size with clear fluid, and are surrounded by erythematous skin. Immunoflouresce studies of tissue obtained on biopsy studies of tissue obtained on biopsy of one of the lesions show linear distribution of IgG and components localized along the basement membrane of the epidermis.
