She is 5 years old and has been diagnosed with a general developmental and language delay, as well as ADHD. She is easily distracted and easily becomes frustrated when she cannot communicate her needs and desires. When frustrated, she kicks and spits both her peers and adults around her. Her developmental delay manifests primarily in poor fine motor skills, particularly her hands/fingers, and poor coordination.
You're planning a group art activity that requires several steps, cutting, gluing, and coloring. Children will have to work in small groups for 15 minutes at a time, for each step of the activity.
