Problem
After having already delved into the life and times of George Washington through the lecture notes and textbook readings, this discussion board will provide a greater understanding of everyday life at his home. View the Mount Vernon photos, which are located within the "Growth of the American Republic" folder and include many photos of the property's signposts (which help visitors understand different aspects of life on the plantation), and/or Mount Vernon's virtual tour. Then, post a brief, original, well-written analysis of one aspect of everyday life at Mount Vernon. The posting could focus on any aspect of life such as the slave quarters, spinning room, overseer's quarters, etc. Use some concrete examples from the photos to illustrate why you feel the way that you do.
