Question: H.G. has reduced kidney function due to diabetes. He has been taking 8 ibuprofen tablets (ibuprofen is a NSAID) every 4 hours to treat back pain. H.G. may be at greater risk for renal failure because ibuprofen causes of the afferent arteriole that may cause a(n) glomerular blood flow.
