Questions: Many observers believe that criminal justice system should operate more like public health and crime (especially gun violence) should be seen as a "disease" to be treated. Explain why or why not this is attainable or desirable. Here, you would need to think about how crime and illness are either similar or different in terms of targeted interventions.
