You are a freelance HR consultant advising Flavio Luca, Director of Camden Health Foods (CHF) on several employment relations issues. The Director, Flavio Luca has made several contract changes without notifying the staff:
Issue: Aisha Karim is a Muslim employee of 3yrs and is 7 months pregnant. She has been moved from being a cashier to serving at the Deli- counter, where she will have to handle pork meats, and furthermore been told she cannot wear her headscarf but to wear a hairnet like other members working at the Deli-counter. Flavio Luca has given Aisha only 2 weeks maternity leave. Aisha is unhappy having to handle pork and not being able to wear her headscarf that symbolises her faith.
