Problem: Business Correspondence Level 1- Writing an Order Letter.
Scenario
You are a carpenter and specialize in building decks and fences. The name of your company is Dadra Construction Ltd. and your business address is P.O. Box 7022, Toronto, ON M2W 8G2. You subscribe to the Professional Landscaping magazine and you saw a small advertisement in the back section of the February issue. This ad described a new type of hinge that can be used to build the floor for certain types of decks. You want to order three sets of hinges - one set of 1 1/2" hinges which costs $3.40, one set of 3" hinges which costs $7.50, and one set of 6" hinges which costs $16.00. You want to receive these hinges as soon as possible so you can test them. Your busy season starts in April and, if you decide to use these hinges, you want to be able to include the cost of them in your quotations, so you would also like a price list for quantity purchases.
