When answering the question "to whom organizations are socially responsible," I would like you to think about the Triple Bottom Line (TBL or 3BL). The TBL is the social, environmental and financial bottom lines that a business has to evaluate their performance against. Back in the day businesses used to only be concerned about the financial bottomline (aka revenue), but now with changes in social awareness and stakeholder management they are charged to include society and the environment. Please pick a company and tell me what their TBL's are.
