Discussion Post: Mapping the Interests for Both Parties
• In the reading Get All the Interests Right, the authors (Lax & Sebenius, 2006) suggest that mapping the interests of your organization and their organization is a serious, ongoing priority that enables you to improve your current position. Based on your own professional or personal experiences, discuss an instance when you could have given greater credence to the Social Contract (p. 6) implications of a negotiated process. How do these interests differ from the traditional focus on the Economic Contract? Be specific.
