The two most important aspects of a classroom management for me is providing an environment in the classroom where the students are motivated to want to learn and creating classroom procedures. From my opinion, when students enter a classroom they should feel excited about learning. When a student enters into the classroom door they should feel the excitement as well as look around and see how the teacher has set up the classroom. The teacher should set the classroom up where the students needs are met by offering different activities in the classroom that will provide different learning experiences for them. Also, teach the students in a way where it's not overwhelming or boring to them, but exciting. I believe that using job charts excites the students and makes them feel a sense of importance because they are helping out in the classroom. I strongly encourage setting the students involved in the classroom. The classroom should also be set up to encourage the student's creativity. The second important aspect I feel is important is creating procedures and rules. Creating procedures and rules helps the teacher to take charge. Procedures and rules should be introduced and practiced in order for the students to grasp them. The rules and procedures let's the students know what is expected out of them and teaches them the importance of following the rules. A classroom should never be ran without including the classroom procedures. I believe that the classroom will be more like running a zoo than running a classroom. Teachers should set the boundaries in the classroom during the first two weeks of school. Creating behavioral charts such as moving clips, hole punches, or turning sticks is a positive way to lessen behavioral issues in the classroom. Sometimes I feel like some of the students don't have enough to do even though the teacher has created activities for the students to do, but some students get bored and need a little something extra. There should be some type of activity created for students who finish their work early or get bored with what the class is doing. I believe there are solutions to students who act out. I mean positive solutions and not negative ones. Students need to know that if they misbehave consistently that there are consequences. The consequences don't need to be harsh.
