We are guaranteed freedom of expression by the United States Constitution. Recent activities, however, have brought that guarantee under scrutiny: on one hand, freedom of expression has led to increased "hate crimes." On the other, students and faculty groups at educational institutions have refused to allow speakers with opposing ideas to speak at their campus. Choose an example of what you see as neglecting our rights/responsibilities to free speech and use a specific example to explain your point. Speak freely (but civilly).
