Assignment task:
1. For this reflection, you will need to write and deliver a short speech (2-4 minutes) on a topic of your choice. It can be either informative or persuasive. Follow the steps in the textbook of Communication in the Real World: An Introduction to Communications Studies from topic selection to delivery of chapter 9,10,11,12. .
2. This speech requires research and you will need to include at least one oral footnote for the research you do for the speech in the speech itself.
3. If you'd like, you can do the speech in the language that you are most comfortable with. If that language is not English, you will also need to add to your submission discussed below an outline of your speech, including references, so that I can make sure you have followed the basic guidelines in the course text.
4. Write short essay describing your process and reflecting on what you enjoyed about writing this speech and what was challenging in writing the speech. Also, explain now that you have finished the speech what you could have done differently to make it less of a challenge.
