It took many years for the scientific community to accept the theory of Plate Tectonics that shape the surface of our Earth but also cause terrible disasters. Indeed, some have even suggested that people be banned from living in dangerous zones such as near active volcanoes or earthquake fault lines, and if they are allowed to live there, the insurance industry should be legally allowed to refuse to sell them insurance for their house or any of their possessions should those natural disasters strike. In your opinion, do you find such an action discriminatory or a case of ‘getting what you deserve' should misfortune befall you?
