Discussion Post: Workplace Mistreatment
No matter how hard you try you can't possibly know what it is to experience any identities other than your own. But you can gain empathy and some type of understanding by exploring ways in which a situation can be interpreted. After listening/reading Protesting Her Own Employer, try and put yourself in both positions. There are no correct answers just perspectives. Create 1 post for each column. Each person should have 2 posts.
• Julia Bond - As someone being racially/sexually discriminated against by coworkers at a large mainstream corporation, what would you have done in her position?
• Adidas - As a large mainstream corporation being accused of supporting/cultivating/maintaining a racist work environment, what would you do in their position?
