What would aristotle say

Problem

Context: One of the foundational ideas that connects all of Aristotle's thought was the belief that everything had a telos (Greek word for 'goal' or 'end result'). In his concept of Justice, Aristotle thought each person should be given what they are due or what they deserve.

Aristotle thought that humans were naturally meant to use their reason to deliberate about important moral questions. Aristotle's hope was that people would then actively share in the political life of the larger community. Aristotle thinks that the reasoned life of an engaged citizen is a necessary part of a good human life. Additionally, he thought that the government should promote this purpose by helping people to become better informed and thereby leading people to become more virtuous. Do you agree? Is a reasoned life of an engaged citizen a necessary part of a good human life? What if someone chooses to live alone in the woods, away from the hustle and bustle of communal life? Is there something less good, or less fully human, about a life spent in solitude and isolation? What would Aristotle say?
