Early adulthood is normally a time of good health, freedom, independence, and for focusing on oneself. This should be one of the most enjoyable of all of the stages in the lifespan. Research, however, indicates quite the opposite. Explain why so many young adults report feeling extremely stressed out and even lonely during this time. What were some of the suggestions discussed for both reacting to stress (in the moment) and things people can do to build up their tolerance for stress?
